IWAIT FOR THE NEXT BUS, I´M VERY WELL HERE IN THE SHADE ...

The intervention builds a piece that greets visitors arriving at Daroca, providing a single image in a peripheral environment that has nothing to do with the beauty of the medieval town. The town of Daroca responds to a geographical location in which, prior to construction of la Mina (the Mine) the largest engineering works of the XVI th century in Spain, the waters around the whole territory through the city and its walls for its main street (calle Mayor), a ravine that drained into the river Jiloca. The shelter is located in the extension of the ravine outside the walls, establishing a link with the ancient city from the reinterpretation, as a tribute "downstream" of the structures of balconies and hanging houses sticking out on Main Street.

Marquesina is generated from two very marked and heavy planes, ground and cover, which build a comfortable space whose section is opened from the lying area to the landing of the bus. This space is bounded laterally by wooden filters that generate the necessary equipment for the wait -umbrellas, benches and signs-, lattices that outline the space but do not prevent understanding in continuity with the public space of the ride.
